"I want you to know that my family has enjoyed ALL of the products we've received from Lost River Naturals. We enjoy the wonderful scents of your creations, as well as the fact that they work! The delicious elderberry syrup has stopped the kids' colds from progressing twice now. I am really not used to things working so quickly, but it happened again with the Healing Salve you gave us for Evan's terribly chapped lips. We had tried other organic products, as well as typical chap sticks. After only a few hours from applying your salve, his lips were very much improved, and after a night of sleeping with the salve applied, he woke up with no signs of ever having been red and chapped. The boys reach for your flaxseed "boo-boo" pillows as soon as they get hurt and having them really helps me to feel like I'm "doing something" even when there isn't anything to be done. And of course the Sugar Scrubs are incredible! "I love, love, love all of the Lost River Naturals products that I have tried. I will share a just a few of my favorites.
I especially like the Women's Liver Tonic tea. I have suffered from lots of hormonal changes as a result of having a baby 15 months ago and still nursing him. It has helped so much with anxiety, stress, and the typical pre-menstrual/menstrual "issues" from which many of us women suffer. Nothing has helped me until I discovered this magical tea =) In addition to the tea, I also use my Flaxseed Pillow for cramps and it's fantastic. I love that I can travel with it and not have to bother with needing an electrical outlet to plug in a heating pad. My husband has also used it on his neck to help alleviate muscular pain.
And last but not least, my son has very bad diaper rash and overall sensitive skin. Both the Must Have Skin Salve and the Happy Tush Treatment have worked WONDERS on him. I can't complete my review without mentioning that along with the incredible products comes a very knowledgeable and kind owner/creator of Lost River Naturals. Connie is extremely helpful and provides the best customer service that I have ever received when buying a product--honestly! "I have tried many varieties of (sugar) scrubs in the past and while they all smelled delicious, they seemed to scour my skin too hard, left me feeling greasy, not clean enough, or un-easy about the ingredients used. But now that I have found Connie's scrubs, I will never use any other! She uses the freshest, most natural, and organic ingredients, in many wonderful scents. Patchouli (with lavender & frankincense) is by far my favorite! The sugar scrubs glide easy on the skin and are gentle enough to use on my face and my children. "My son has been getting chapped around his lips, then he makes it worse by licking it and it looked HORRIBLE. I mean really bad. Cracked, red, dry, peeling, yuck. I have tried everything I can think of and nothing was working! We have done olive oil, coconut oil, various cheap sticks, lavender, calendula cream, and even the dreaded Vaseline. Nothing was working!
Then I remembered your
"gentle healing oil" and I tried it. Now after 3 days of it, they aren't red or chapped anymore! I am so glad something helped. Everything else he would freak out and wipe off but he leaves the healing oil on. Thanks for making this great product!"
