Organic Pregnancy and Postpartum Teas

~ Sage Mama ~ Organic Pregnancy Tea

Mamas-to-be are often encouraged to drink raspberry leaf tea during pregnancy.   I've blended nutritious, beneficial organic herbs together to create the perfect , great tasting tea for expecting moms.  These herbs aid in the toning of uterine and pelvic floor muscles in preparation for labor and delivery, relieve nausea and indigestion, reduce chance of hemorrhoids and postpartum hemorrhage, assist in production of breast milk, and provide the mama with essential minerals and vitamins needed during this time of transition.  This tea is also high in calcium, vitamin C and gives the immune system a boost.  Use one rounded teaspoon of tea per  8 oz. cup of boiling water and allow to steep for at least 15 minutes.  The longer the steep, the more nutrients are extracted from the herbs.  This is excellent to sip throughout labor as well and it tastes great with or without a touch of raw honey!  Even if you are not pregnant, this nutritious tea is an excellent addition to any woman's diet.  Sip at least 3 cups a day for maximum benefit.

~Balance Blend~ Postpartum Recovery and Lactation Tea

This tea is an abundant source of vitamins and minerals for mama and it also helps to enrich her breastmilk , assist in postpartum recovery and aid in relaxation when stressful situations arise.  New mothers are perfectly equipped to provide their little ones with the ultimate nutrition, but this blend just gives nature a helping hand in promoting the production of plentiful breastmilk.  The herbs in this pleasant tasting tea support and soothe the mama after her wonderful journey of labor and delivery and help to remind her to nurture herself as well as the sweet baby.  Use one rounded teaspoon of tea per 8 oz. cup of boiling water and allow to steep for at least 15 minutes.  The longer the steep, the more nutrients are drawn from the herbs. This may be enjoyed warm or cold and sipped throughout the day.  This is also a very nutritious tea for anyone in the family.
